About
Welcome to Cha Lua Ngoc Hung, a hidden gem nestled in Falls Church, Virginia, where the essence of traditional Vietnamese cuisine comes alive. Located at 6799 Wilson Blvd #2, this bakery specializes in delivering exquisite Vietnamese delicacies, particularly renowned for its cha lua and banh bao, making it a must-visit for both locals and visitors alike.
Stepping into Cha Lua Ngoc Hung is like stepping into a slice of Vietnam. The air is fragrant with the savory aroma of freshly prepared dishes. It’s no wonder that customers rave about their experience here. A recent patron, Tracy, sums it up perfectly: “Go here, get pork buns.” The simple yet profound statement captures the heart of what this bakery stands for.
The reviews consistently highlight the standout offerings at Cha Lua Ngoc Hung. For instance, Ted Okazaki shared his delightful experience after trying their banh bao, stating, “It was only 3.10 for a big bao. I was not disappointed. It was delicious.” The cha siu baos here are a testimony to the skill and authenticity of the culinary craft practiced at this mom-and-pop shop. It’s a place where the quality speaks volumes, making it a favorite despite the sometimes lengthy lines.
What truly sets Cha Lua Ngoc Hung apart is the cha lua, a traditional Vietnamese pork sausage that keeps patrons coming back for more. Long T explains, “Best place to get cha lua.” The unique preparation, where only a small piece of banana leaf touches the cha lua, preserves its authentic flavor without overpowering it. Each slice is a perfect balance of taste and texture, not to mention visually appealing.
Another satisfied customer, AnhEm Ta, gleefully compared their cha lua with establishments across major cities like Los Angeles and San Jose, declaring it the best in terms of freshness, taste, and reasonable pricing. This speaks volumes about the integrity of their ingredients and the traditional methods used in preparation, which are often hard to find.
Whether it’s your first visit or you're a returning customer, a trip to Cha Lua Ngoc Hung promises an unforgettable culinary adventure. With delicious pork buns, savory cha lua, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it stands as a testament to the rich tapestry of Vietnamese cuisine. “ I was a little hungry and we were welcomed in to this quick take out place. Not familiar with their Banh bao but I love cha siu baos so I decided to give it a chance. It was only 3.10 for a big bao. I was not disappointed. It was delicious. Anyone familiar with siu mai dim sum would have instantly recognized the delicious pork filling. I will be back to grab a dozen next time. ”
